Biography
Matt completed the BS/MS program at Georgia Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Nuclear Engineering. His thesis focused on modeling the effects of tokamak ion orbit loss into the scrape off layer and divertor.
Current Research
The effect(s) of ion orbit loss in the scrape off layer and the divertor regions. I am also interested in the applications of magnetic confinement physics to space propulsion technologies.
