Graduate and advanced undergraduate students may perform independent study on special problems in fusion and plasma physics for academic credit under the guidance of faculty and staff scientists associated with the FRC and with collaborating fusion research laboratories.

Student Design Projects
Undergraduate students perform design projects for tokamaks and fission-fusion hybrid reactors in NRE 4610 under faculty guidance. Graduate students and undergrads taking NRE 6102 conduct extensive reviews of the state of research in several topics related to fusion plasma physics.
